9 Bible Verses to Usher You Into the Presence of God
Sometimes the most powerful motivator for me to slow the busyness of life to BE with God is a simple invitation, spoken straight from His Word.
To such an invitation, my spirit can’t help but say, “yes!”
As I talked with one of my nearest, dearest friends this week, she mentioned a list she’d curated of Bible verses about spending time with God. My interest was piqued, and I asked her to send me a copy.
I spent the next morning looking through and carefully reading all of her verses. I also thought and prayed about which ones I would add to the list. Together we came up with a great list I think.
Just looking at this sweet list filled me with such peace and joy in this beautiful relationship to which God has called me. To which he has called you.
It’s breathtakingly intimate and personal.
So now, I’m giving you this gift of invitation into God’s presence. (Let’s be honest, this gift is straight from God and so holy.)
Please take some time to carefully pray through these verses. If one stands out to you, speaks to you, motivates you, and inspires you, please take the time to copy it down and put it where you’ll see it and be reminded.
Then follow through… spend time with your Abba.

so that I know how to comfort the weary.
Morning by morning he wakens me
and opens my understanding to his will.” (NLT)

I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.’” (NIV)

so my soul pants for you, my God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?” (NIV)
“How lovely is your dwelling place,
My soul yearns, even faints,
for the courts of the Lord…” (NIV)
“Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (NIV)

“My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’
Your face, Lord, I will seek.” NIV)
“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus… let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.” (NIV)

Thanks so much brethren, the words is very inspiring to me God bless you
Men shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that processed for the mouth of God.
Thank you. The verses were heartwarming and I was really blessed. Was inspiring as past months had me lost touch spiritually, and I thank God for this as, drawing from these verses, surely ushers me back into God presence. And I would like to share this to others as well. God bless you.
The bible verse are very touching my daughter enjoy it thank you for the encouragement..
T.K. The tiredness is your outer man. I’ve struggled with this every week, for decades, but my inner man is stronger every year. Eph 3:16 says our born again [ insides] will get stronger and stronger, to the degree that we pursue that.
I can hear my outside complaining, but KNOW that my inner man is renewed, is drawing close. John 3: the spirit blows in our life like a wind. The natural man doesn’t understand that. Jesus said “You’ve been a teacher, and you don’t KNOW these things!” I have the Nicodemus dullness, but the born again sharpness of Paul or John.
A short sincere prayer, a sacrifice of praise, many small actions are seen by the LORD. My physical tiredness is unimportant.
I love it! Can help a lot.
Thank you for sharing. My favorite scripture you shared is Psalm 84:1-2
The priviledge to enter into the presence of God is absolutely mindblowing. The more I know Him,the more I want to know Him.We gain so much when we spend time in His presence, but the greatest gain is to know Him and love Him.
God bless you, more grace to serve and heaven at last.
Here is another scripture that I meditate on about seeking His Presence :
The person who has my commandments and keeps them is the one who [really]loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show ( reveal, manifest) Myself to Him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him]. AMPC
I’m declaring this and a few more till he comes ..,
I love it! Thank you Carrie!
